Excursion No. 1 – Day Colombo City tour & Shopping
We take a drive around the city, visiting its museum and impressive Parliament House, also designed by Geoffrey Bawa. Colombo is fascinating with a cozy mixture of the past and present and is the commercial center of the country.
Visit Sea Street – The Goldsmith’s quarter in Pettah, The Bazaar Area, A Hindu temple, The Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1794, the historical Devatagaha Mosque & the Gangarama Temple.
Also visit the Old Dutch Hospital, which has been impressively restored and now holds eateries, bars, boutique stores and spas. Constructed all of four centuries ago, the building is a resounding example of colonial Dutch architecture with high ceilings, thick walls, large wide windows and terracotta tiled floors. In the afternoon, see some of Sri Lanka’s fine shopping at the Paradise Road, Odel, Barefoot and etc.
After the city tour return to the hotel.

Excursion No. 2 – Day Kandy City Tour
After Breakfast proceed to Kandy.
Kandy – a lovely exotic city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which retains an aura of grandeur, time has not affected. A cultural sanctuary where many legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive, Kandy and its satellite villages are the center of the islands handicraft industry (items of wood, brass & silver) exquisite silver or gold jewelry and precious gems of many varieties including the world’s best blue and star sapphires. Visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts & crafts center and a gem museum and a lapidary. Also visit the Temple of tooth.
Temple Of Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple After Lunch Visit Botanical Gardens.
Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is about 5.5 km to the west from the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km2), at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall
On completion return to Colombo.
